Free PDF Software!
I have found an alternative to Adobe PDF Reader called LITEPDF.
Not only does the LITEPDF software let you read PDF files like Adobe Reader, but it also converts Microsoft Word (And other common types of files!) to PDF files and also “prints” PDFs as well. Plus, LITEPDF is free!
Of course you will need to install the printer driver (software tht “talks” to your printer and allows you to print) on the first print request, but it is very easy to install.
Remember, printing with a PDF program allows to to “print to file”, in other words, save the document to a file instead of actually printing a physical copy, or print to your actual printer.
When you “print to file” with the LITEPDF software, as with most PDF software, it means creating (Or converting) the file to a PDF document.
Once you do that, you can open and read this nifty new file in any PDF reader software to read the contents.
This is a great way to distribute a PC file to a reader with a MAC as MACs an also read PDF files!
